About This Dog for Adoption

Cheeka's ideal home

1 year old Molly and 4 year old Cheeka are a bonded pair and looking for a forever home together. Both are a little shy at first when meeting new people so ideally would like a home with minimal visitors. They can both be wary of new environments and can become quite vocal when they feel anxious. A home with a secure private garden would be beneficial for them both to stroll around without any distraction. They can live with older teenagers 16 + who can give them space when they are feeling overwhelmed. Any leaving time will need to built up slowly once settled in their new home and any potential adopter will need to be able to do multiple meets here at the center before they go home.

Could you be Cheeka's perfect match?

Cheeka is a nervous girl and will need some confidence building, she has not seen much of the world and will need a family that can take their time helping her discover the world is not so scary. She has shown some guarding behavious with her food so care will need to be taken around feeding, giving her space to eat alone. Both Molly and Cheeka would benefit from a slow and steady approach.
