Blue's ideal home

Blue is an adorable 3-year-old chihuahua. He is quite worried by the big wide world, so needs calm and patient adopters who are able to take things at his pace. He is anxious around unfamiliar people, but once he has a bond with you, he loves snuggling on the sofa and sitting on your knee for a snooze. It will take some time for Blue to settle in, so we are looking for people that are around most of the time and he will need a secure and enclosed garden to potter about in. Blue isn’t interested in other dogs so will need to be the only dog in an adult only home.

Could you be Blue's perfect match?

Blue is such a sweetheart once he gets to know you, he likes playing with toys and walks nicely on the lead. He is nervous and can be spooked easily. For example, busy roads are quite worrying for him, so will need to be exercised in quiet areas. He does travel well in the car so is happy to travel for walks. He needs someone who is happy to continue training on building up his confidence and he will require multiple meets here at the centre to build a relationship with his potential adopter. If you are able to provide a predictable and regular routine, as well as lots of love, please put Blue as a favourite dog on your application!
