Lilo & Stitch's ideal home

Lilo and Stitch are an adorable bonded pair of Chihuahuas who are Ten years old. They are looking for a calm and understanding forever home where they can continue to grow in confidence together.
Both Lilo and Stitch can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but once they’ve had time to get to know you, they start to show their affectionate and gentle natures and will love a cuddle. They’ll need a family to help build a bond at their own pace as Stitch is a sensitive soul who enjoys exploring on walks and takes comfort from her companion, Lilo. Lilo is a sweet girl with a gentle spirit—she’ll need ongoing veterinary support, so her new family will need to have a chat with our vet nurse to understand her medical needs.

Both Lilo and Stitch are looking for a peaceful, adult-only home but could live with secondary aged school children who will allow them their own space. A secure garden would be a great bonus for them to potter about and relax. Lilo and Stitch walk beautifully on lead and enjoy quiet strolls where they can take in the world together without too much hustle and bustle.
They are used to having company, so will need a home where they’re not left for long periods—ideally no more than 1-2 hours to start as they love being around there humans.

Chihuahua Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Chihuahua.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Chihuahua Owners website
Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images
