Dulci's ideal home
Dulci is a beautiful 7-month-old puppy who is currently thriving in foster care, where she has settled in wonderfully. Foster carers describe her as "bright as a button" and "an absolute dream" to have around. She adores people and greets everyone she meets with happy enthusiasm, quickly showing her affectionate and loving nature. Dulci is a curious young dog who enjoys exploring the world at her own pace and is beginning to discover the fun of playing with toys, especially soft ones, although noisy toys can still make her a little unsure. She travels happily in the back of the car and, as she's still a youngster, will need continued support with her housetraining.

Dulci is looking for a calm, understanding home where her confidence can continue to grow. Loud noises and sudden movements can make her nervous, and if she feels worried she will often seek reassurance by jumping up to her favourite people. New places and experiences should be introduced gently to avoid overwhelming her. Dulci will need to be the only dog in the home, as she finds other dogs unsettling and will often freeze rather than react when she sees them on walks. She is not vocal or confrontational and may enjoy walking alongside calm, independent dogs that give her plenty of space. She could happily live with sensible primary school-aged children who can respect her need for reassurance, and with patient adopters willing to help build her confidence, Dulci is sure to become a wonderfully loyal and devoted companion.
