About This Dog for Adoption

Feta's ideal home

Feta is a 4 year and 1 month old Chihuahua, he is currently kennelled with his pal Cheddar. This little guy is a sweet and sensitive soul who's a little wary when it comes to meeting new people — so slow introductions and a calm environment are a must. However, when it comes to dogs, they’re much more confident and would ideally like to live with Feta or another friendly Chihuahua or similar-sized companion ( pending a successful dog mix here at the centre) . He can live children aged 16 and over, in a calm and understanding household.

This little one has medium energy levels and enjoys their playtime, but also values a cosy nap. They can be left alone for short periods once settled, but will need multiple visits to the centre to build trust before going home.
Feta is not housetrained and will need a patient and consistent adopter to help them learn the ropes at their own pace. Our Behaviour team will be on hand to give advise and guidance in the ongoing training with this little guy.
