Gin's ideal home

Gin is a 6yr old Chihuahua cross who has come into our care from a welfare situation which has understandably left her with some worries. She’s a sweetheart who can get a bit overwhelmed so is best suited to an adult only home with the potential of older children visiting once she has settled into her new home. Gin could share her home with another small dog but has shown some reactive behaviours towards large dogs. This would be pending a successful mix in the centre prior to adoption. Although we have no history for her around cats, she could potentially live with them, following a successful scent swap. She’ll then need a gradual introduction to her new feline friend, being kept apart to begin with.

Could you be Gin's perfect match?

We have no prior home history for Gin so a patient family that can introduce her to basics will be needed to teach her things like being housetrained. She is happy to jump into a car so has potential to join her new family on trips out. Gin should be ok being left home alone for a few hours as does settle well here at the centre when left to her own devices. If you're looking for a pint sized pal, then Gin could be the one for you!
