Minnie's ideal home

Minnie is ready to find her new home as is finding kennel life to be overwhelming. She is suitable to live with sensible secondary school aged children who can appreciate she's a little shy at first and provide her with a safe space to help her settle in. Minnie is looking to be the only dog in her new home but will benefit from doggy walking friends to build up her confidence and social skills. She does have potential to live with cats, pending a successful scent swap and gradual introductions in the home.

Minnie is a 7 year old Chihuahua. We have no prior home history for her so she will benefit from an introduction to the basics. Things like housetraining and car travel will need some work but we think she will cope well being left alone for a few hours as settles nicely here. Due to her small stature, she can find traffic a little intimidating so isn't looking to live in a city location.
