About This Dog

Bruno Mars's ideal home

Bruno Mars is a sweet two-year-old boy who can be shy and nervous when meeting new people. He gains a lot of confidence from his brother, Brody, and will often let him approach first while he watches and learns that everything is safe. Once he knows and trusts you, Bruno is very happy to be handled and enjoys gentle affection. Because of the close bond between the boys, Bruno must be rehomed with Brody, as having his brother by his side helps him feel secure and confident. Bruno walks nicely on the lead and will pass other dogs calmly, though he prefers to keep his distance and can be worried by larger dogs. He is much happier around smaller, calm dogs and enjoys relaxed walks, especially when walking alongside Brody.
Bruno and Brody are not currently available to view at the centre. Potential adopters are encouraged to mark the pair as favourites on their application to show interest.

Could you be Bruno Mars's perfect match?

Bruno would suit a calm, patient home where he can settle at his own pace. A household with children aged 16 and over would be ideal, as he thrives in a quieter environment. He has previously lived with cats and may be able to do so again with careful introductions. Bruno has a medium energy level and enjoys his daily walks, travelling well in the car and feeling reassured when Brody is beside him. Once settled into his new home, he can be left for short periods and is fully housetrained. At home, Bruno loves to play with teddy bears and squeaky toys, and after playtime he’s more than happy to curl up on the sofa for a cuddle with his favourite people.
