About This Dog

Joey's ideal home

Joey can live with children of primary school age but will need to be the only pet as he's hit and miss with dogs. He is house trained and used to being left alone for about two hours without worry.

Could you be Joey's perfect match?

Joey is a fairly easy going little fella who loves to potter about the centre and have a good sniff. He's a playful chap but if he's not too familiar with you he can be quite vocal, but once he's got to know someone then all is good and he's very confident off lead. When he's with someone he knows, Joey is very cuddly and likes to climb in your lap for a butt scratch, but he does like a slower approach from strangers and can be unsure about being handled. Joey is very foody and loves his toys too, especially small squeakers. He has been picky about the dogs he will walk with and prefers those that will have a quick sniff and then not bother him any further.

...when he feels ready. He gets along well with other dogs and we've seen no issues over sharing attention or toys so we're happy to rehome him with another dog. Bobby is used to travelling in the car but has zero road sense so he'll need to be kept on his lead unless in a secure area.

...fun. We don't think Bailey has had much exposure to other dogs in his previous home and he has very mixed reactions when meeting...begins to bark! We've been walking him near to other dogs that we know won't pay him any mind, helping build up his confidence around others. His new family will need to be prepared to work with Bailey, building up the same confidence and...

She is very foody and will often scoff down her food and then tackle anything Sophie hasn't finished so it's advisable to give them their own spaces when eating.
