About This Dog

Hugo's ideal home

Hugo would be happiest in a quiet home environment with minimal visitors, as he can feel unsure when new people arrive. On walks he may be vocal when spotting people or dogs, though his foster carer can distract him easily. He would prefer to be the only dog in the household, and while he isn’t suited to living with cats, he could share a home with small pets if kept separate. Hugo would be comfortable living with secondary‑school‑aged children, who can give him the calm and understanding companionship he appreciates.

Could you be Hugo's perfect match?

Hugo is an 11‑year‑old chihuahua currently enjoying his home comforts in his foster home. He adores being close to his carers and has shown himself to be wonderfully sweet and affectionate once he feels settled. He’s comfortable being left for a couple of hours once settled, enjoying his walks and loves his food, (he takes his treats with gentle manners!). Hugo also travels well in the car too.
