About This Dog

Ross's ideal home

Ross can live with other dogs of a similar size and temperament, and also cats. Any children in the home will need to be 10 and over. Ross is house trained but not used to spending any length of time by himself. Ross has some medical issues including a grade two heart murmur, skin problems and hypothyroidism, and requires medication daily.

Ross is a gentle little lad who, despite not having been walked for some time, has taken to it like a duck to water! He happily potters about the centre at a gentle pace and likes to stop for regular sniffs. Ross loves his handlers and looks to them for reassurance in new situations, and is just such a sweet little soul. He took his vet exams like a champ! Ross could live with another dog of similar size and calm nature as himself. He has come from a house where he had a few small friends and would probably enjoy the company again.

...when he feels ready. He gets along well with other dogs and we've seen no issues over sharing attention or toys so we're happy to rehome him with another dog. Bobby is used to travelling in the car but has zero road sense so he'll need to be kept on his lead unless in a secure area.
