About This Dog

Gherkin's ideal home

Gherkin is a very sweet 1yr old Chihuahua Crossbreed who was found as a stray. While we don't know anything about his past, he has shown himself to be a real snuggle monster once he knows you! He can be worried by people he doesn't know but comes round if you give him a bit of space initially. He's super dog social though so would be fine to share with a similar dog to himself who'll be a good role model for him.

Gherkin will need a peaceful and predictable home so he can properly settle in, so an adult only home will be best. Access to a garden will help with his house training. Gherkin is clearly a dog who forms a very strong bond with his humans and once you have a relationship with him you will have the most wonderful snuggle buddy you could wish for! He'll just need a little time initially to find his paws.
