About This Dog

Buddy's ideal home

Loveable boy Buddy is a 9 year old Shih Tzu cross who enjoys all of the attention, he loves a sniffy stroll and a comfy and snooze in equal measure. He likes to play with toys, but does sometimes like to defluff them, he is a gracious boy and is happy for you to tidy up after he is done. He can be quite cheeky and is a doggy of opportunity, if you leave food unattended, he will have a nibble. Buddy adores a fuss, he will sometimes sit on his back paws and beg for a neck scratch! This super cute boy is ready to find his new home.

Could you be Buddy's perfect match?

Buddy is looking for a for a calm and relaxed home with adopters who can take him on sniffy strolls and give him comfy places to snooze, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He could live with confident primary school children who will play with him nicely and will give him space to rest when needed. Buddy likes all of the attention to himself so is looking to be the only pet in the home, he would be happy with friendly and polite walking buddies that will let him approach on his terms. Buddy has some training under his belt, he could be persuaded to engage in training in short, sweet sessions as long as a tasty treat is on offer. Buddy can settle nicely in the home so could be left for up to 4 hours, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Buddy takes daily medication and will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear all of this in mind when applying.

He could happily live with another calm, small dog that is tolerant of puppy behaviours (any resident female dog would need to be neutered), as having a confident canine companion may help him settle into home life. Pepe cannot be...
