Cookie has come to us through no fault of her own, she is a lovely 9-year-old lady with plenty of life and adventure still ahead of her. Friendly, happy, and always pleased to say hello, she enjoys meeting new people and loves getting out to explore. She is a medium-energy girl who still enjoys an active lifestyle but is equally happy spending quality time with her favourite humans. Cookie is confident around other dogs and is happy to walk alongside them, although she generally prefers to do her own thing rather than play and would much rather focus on the people she's with. She has previously lived with cats.

Cookie is looking for a home where she can be the only dog, as she has previously shown resource guarding towards another dog she lived with. Cookie can live with older secondary aged children that understand her needs and management around feeding times and long-lasting treats appropriately by ensuring she has her own space. Cookie has never really been left alone, so her new family will need to gradually build up the time she spends on her own to help her settle confidently into a new routine.
