Saturn's ideal home
Saturn is a 5-year-old Chihuahua who is a very nervous boy and will need time, patience and lots of love to help him build his confidence. New environments and unfamiliar situations can be scary for him, and he may hide away when he feels unsure. Once Saturn feels safe, he can begin to form strong bonds with people and will enjoy gentle affection, but he needs someone who understands that trust takes time. He is very wary when meeting new people and will need adopters who are willing to visit him at the centre several times to build a relationship before he goes home.

Saturn is looking for a calm, patient home where his boundaries can be respected and he can settle at his own pace. He can be nervous around dogs he doesn't know and has previously guarded his food from other dogs, so he will need to be the only dog in the home. Saturn could live with older secondary-school-aged children who are able to understand and respect his need for space. His ideal family will be committed to helping him feel safe and secure, allowing him the time and reassurance he needs to blossom into a happy and confident companion.
